Welcome Home

NOTICE:On February 7th this site was hijacked by someone and used for illegal purposes. My hosting provider took immediate action and shut down the site. In order to stop the criminals, it was necessary to wipe this site clean. We are back up and will be working on putting the photos and recipes back on-line. Thanks for understanding. - David

Welcome to our family's online album. We live far away from our immediate and extended families and so we decided that one of the best ways to stay in touch was the internet. This site has changed and grown over time, sometimes we've been quick to update it, and sometimes woefully slow. Regardless, all the work has been full of love.

The central focus of this site is the photo album. We recently installed a new program that will help up to get these photos online quickly and easily. Though there will be less commentary, photos will be updated much more frequently. There is also the added benefit of being able to order copies of the images directly from SHUTTERFLY. You can enjoy the images by click HERE, or by selecting the Albums button to the left.

One of the keys to staying involved in family is knowing who they are. To that end we have been working on our genealogy for a number of years. We encourage you to come and climb our family trees. If you have information you would like to add, please make sure to drop us an email. Photos and stories are always welcome.

Enjoy your visit with us and please come back again. May we be able to sit together one day soon.

We have made it to Kansas. We spent two weeks driving across the country. It was awesome and pictures are here.

Bethel had its first ever Bar-mitzva on the last Shabbat of Pesach. Shabbat morning services were at our house. In the evening, Solomon Krevans, the Bar-mitzva boy led a seder for nearly 150 people. Photos will be up soon. In the meantime, Here are articles about it:

SITE NEWS
We gather together as family and friends around the table. The food we make connects us to generations past and present. Check out the family recipes. Contribute to the family cookbooks. Make genealogy more than just a collection of names.

Our Genealogy page has finally been updated with a searchable database for the HORESH (and related) family. I am working on a way to get the other family trees on-line as well. Please visit and enjoy!
